His approach, which integrates traditional medicine with alternative and complementary therapies, reflects a growing recognition of the importance of holistic health.

Here are some key points and potential strategies for achieving his mission:

Education and Awareness:

Develop educational materials, workshops, and seminars to teach people about holistic health and the four dimensions of health (physical, mental, social, and spiritual).

Personal Responsibility

Emphasize the role of individual responsibility in health through coaching, motivational materials, and success stories of those who have improved their health through holistic practices.

Scientific Evidence for Complementary Therapies:

Conduct and promote research studies on the efficacy of complementary therapies. Collaborating with universities and research institutions can help in this endeavour.

Training Holistic Health Practitioners:

Develop certification, diploma, and degree courses to train holistic health practitioners. This could be done through online platforms, workshops, and partnerships with educational institutions.

Self-Help Guides:

Publish self-help guides for various medical conditions, providing practical advice and holistic approaches to managing health issues.

Building a Multidisciplinary Team:

Assemble a team of practitioners from various disciplines, including traditional medicine, alternative therapies, psychology, and wellness coaching, to provide comprehensive care.

About Dr. Sujan Sen MD and The Ultimate Holistic Health Research Institute

Dr Sujan Sen, founder of ‘The Ultimate Holistic Health Research Institute’ has been a medical doctor for over 40 years.

In his medical journey of over 40 years, he has gathered his medical knowledge and skills from India and the United Kingdom.

Over the years, while treating thousands of people, he realised that treating and curing the disease is different from healing the total person as a whole from inside.

Curing the disease does not always make the person healthy in every aspect and does not always improve the quality of life and wellbeing.

He therefore studied and qualified himself in various alternative medical methods including Ayurveda, hypnotherapy, Reiki and even the recently developed NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) that has established its role in medicine.

He subsequently applied these to his patients with success.

Amongst all these, Ayurveda meaning ‘Science of life’ is the oldest healing science

Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.”

It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition from accomplished masters to their disciples.

Some of this knowledge was set to print a few thousand years ago, but much of it is inaccessible.

The principles of many of the natural healing systems now familiar in the West have their roots in Ayurveda, including Homeopathy and Polarity Therapy.

He explored the definition of health in details and feels that the principles of this ancient wisdom remind us that the entire web of life is intricately interwoven.

This is the world’s oldest holistic system that originated over 5000 years ago and is even more relevant today than ever before. For example, practice of ancient yoga is benefitting many people across the globe.

Ayurvedic medicine is an example of a well-organized system of traditional health care, both preventive and curative, that is widely practiced in parts of Asia.

Ayurveda has a long tradition behind it, having originated in India perhaps as much as 5,000 years ago.

Today it remains a favoured form of health care not only in large parts of the Eastern world, especially in India, but also in many countries of the western world, where a significant percentage of the population uses this system exclusively or combined with modern medicine.

What is Health?

In June 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) did not explicitly include "spiritual health" in its definition of health found in the WHO Constitution. The definition emphasizes physical, mental, and social well-being, without specifically mentioning spiritual well-being.

However, the concept of health has evolved over time, and there is a growing recognition of the importance of spiritual, emotional, and cultural aspects of health and well-being. These aspects can significantly influence an individual's overall health and quality of life.

The WHO has addressed spiritual health indirectly through its work on health promotion, quality of life, and palliative care, acknowledging the importance of spiritual considerations in healthcare and well-being.

For example, the WHO's work on palliative care recognizes the spiritual needs of patients and their families as an essential component of comprehensive care.

While spiritual health may not be explicitly mentioned in the WHO's definition of health, the organization's broader activities and publications reflect an understanding of health that encompasses a wide range of factors contributing to well-being, including spiritual dimensions for many people.

Therefore in the current era of cultural, political, economic turbulence across the globe, the need to consider spiritual health alongside physical, mental, and social health is of utmost importance.

His mission is to improve people’s overall health and wellbeing with ‘The Secret of Ultimate Holistic Health’. Hence he has founded ‘The Ultimate Holistic Health & Research Institute.’
